As we bid farewell to 2024, we’re gearing up to launch 2025 in style. After ending the year camping, we’re starting the new year with a cruise—true to my TikTok tagline, “Keep it between the C’s.” This mantra has become more than just a catchy phrase; it’s a lifestyle that reflects our love for camping, cruising, and the adventures that lie in between.
Reflecting on 2024: A Year of New Beginnings
Purchasing our new fifth-wheel camper in September 2024 was a game-changer. In just a few short months, we’ve already embarked on five camping trips, each more memorable than the last. Our camper has become our mobile sanctuary, allowing us to bring the comforts of home wherever we go. Whether it’s a quiet weekend by the lake or a lively gathering at a NASCAR event, our camper has been the perfect companion.
We ended 2024 doing what we love most—camping. This final trip of the year set the tone for what promises to be an action-packed 2025, filled with ambitious goals and exciting adventures.
Goal #1: Camping in 30 Different Locations
Our first goal for 2025 is to camp in at least 30 different locations. From the sandy beaches of North Carolina to the roaring excitement of NASCAR tracks, we plan to make full use of our camper.
Camping offers us the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. Each destination provides a new backdrop for making memories, whether it’s a sunrise walk along the beach or an evening campfire under the stars. This year, we’re setting our sights on:
- Beachfront campgrounds along the North Carolina coast.
- Scenic mountain retreats in the Appalachians.
- Campsites near major NASCAR tracks, where the thrill of the race adds an extra layer of excitement.
- Hidden gems we discover along the way.
Our camper allows us to stay connected to nature while enjoying the conveniences of home. It’s our base for adventures, family time, and even work.
Goal #2: Cruising on Three Different Ships
The second major goal for 2025 is to set sail on three different cruise ships. Starting in January, we’ll be aboard the MSC Seascape for a 14-day voyage. This cruise will kick off our year with a mix of relaxation and exploration, setting the tone for the months ahead.
In April, we’re thrilled to be part of the MSC World America’s maiden voyage. There’s something magical about experiencing a ship’s inaugural journey—the excitement of discovery, the brand-new amenities, and the sense of being part of maritime history.
As for the third cruise? It’s still TBD, but we’re keeping our options open. Whether it’s a tropical escape to the Caribbean or a scenic journey through Europe, we’re ready to embrace the adventure.
Balancing Work and Play
While we’re committed to “keeping it between the C’s,” our work remains a vital part of our journey. Our company, CJRMS, will be active across various markets in 2025. You can catch us at NASCAR tracks and many places in between as we continue to grow and diversify our presence.
Our camper has also enabled us to expand the reach of our second company, 2 Away Travel. With the camper as our mobile office, we’re able to set up shop wherever we go. Whether it’s a bustling campground or a quiet retreat, we’re always ready to connect with clients and plan their dream vacations.
The Joy of Life on the Road
Living on the road has its challenges, but the rewards far outweigh them. Every trip, whether by land or sea, brings new experiences and opportunities to connect with others. Our camper and cruises allow us to blend the best of both worlds—the freedom of travel and the comforts of home.
