The Colosseum, Vatican City, the Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon are all within reach. Rome is a full-day excursion — the port is about 90 minutes from the city center by train or shuttle.

Book Vatican tours in advance — lines are extremely long without a reservation.

🌅Santorini, Greece

The iconic blue-domed churches and whitewashed buildings of Oia are a photographer's dream. Watch the sunset from the caldera rim, explore the ancient ruins of Akrotiri, or take a boat tour to the volcanic hot springs.

Santorini is a tender port with a very steep cable car — arrive early to avoid long waits, or take the donkey path for a memorable (if steep) climb.

Pearl Harbor requires advance reservations — book online before your cruise. The memorial is free but the boat tour tickets go fast.

🌊Maui (Kahului)

The Road to Hana is one of the most scenic drives in the world — 64 miles of rainforest, waterfalls, and dramatic coastline. Snorkel at Molokini Crater, watch the sunrise from Haleakalā volcano summit, or relax on the golden sands of Kaanapali Beach.

🌋Hilo, Big Island
